Astrid wants a second chance with her lover Fallon that she hasn’t seen in a year. On Fallon’s birthday she sends him an e-mail letting him know that she is still interested.

Fallon, a contract killer for a demon, can’t forget the month that he spent with Astrid and would do anything to get back in contact with her. When he gets her e-mail he can’t call her fast enough and try to set a hook up. The only problem is he has to do one last job before his boss will let him take vacation. The only problem is the person he has to kill is Astrid’s best friend. There are demons, witches, and various other characters. You almost need a map to find your way through all of the intrigue and plots.  

Stella & Audra Price have built a complex world. It was hard to keep track of all the characters. This world, though, has richly developed primary and secondary characters. Sugar & Sin has very graphic sex scenes with multiple couples. The reader should be aware that there is some couple swapping. I have plans to reread this book and will be looking for the other books in the Eververse series. I would recommend this book to anyone looking to get away from reality for a little while.
