Reunion by Kimberly Zant

When Carrie receives an invitation to her fifteenth high school reunion, she’s sure she’s not going to go.  Yet the invitation sits like a beacon on her hall table, calling to her, tormenting her to go, especially to see the first boy she ever fell hard for, Heath Bardsley.

When she finally makes travel arrangements to go to the little town she graduated from, the one that survived on gossip, she’s convinced herself she is going for one reason and only one.  She’s going to go to bed with Heath, if he’s available, and exorcise him from her memories.

Of course, things don’t turn out quite the way Carrie expected, especially when the first time she sees Heath again he’s a drop dead gorgeous man and she’s looking like something out of Fright Night (bad airplane trip).  That doesn’t deter Heath who has a little agenda all his own.

Told in the first person, Reunion makes you feel like you are in Carrie’s shoes, experiencing all her fears, memories, slights and triumphs-the sort associated with seeing people you’ve been glad to be away from for fifteen years.  Overall this was a great, hot read.  The foreplay is hot, the frustration of unfulfilled lust palpable.  And when Heath and Carrie finally get down to the sex, you want to cheer; they both so deserve to have their desires satisfied.

A few typographical errors didn’t detract from this read as much as some unanswered questions, namely in Heath’s response to Carrie at the picnic where they’d been skinny dipping.  All in all, Reunion is a great read and sure to leave you hoping your next class reunion goes nearly as well.
