Desdemona and Drake meddle into the lives of Alexis and Zephyr. Their goal, to give Alexis a life and to save Zephyr’s from the impending civil unrest in the bowels of hell itself.

Their plan includes having Zephyr seduce Alexis in her dreams and show her there is more to life than legal briefs.

Baby, It’s Witchcraft is a little tale that needed a much larger arena. The reader doesn’t really get to know Zephyr other than to see him as King of the Underworld and one with a temper at that. He doesn’t question the meddling of his father or his sudden attraction to a human woman.

Alexis for her part, does a lot of questioning and eventually the only answer she gets from Desdemona is that “True love is magical.”

Unfortunately, in this story, true love feels forced and there is no emotional connection between the couple or for the reader.
