Cult intervention specialist Sam Reed doesn’t know what he’s in for when he teams up with Kelly Bancroft to rescue her brother from a suicide cult in the California desert. Reluctant partners at first, her independent nature and his distrust of women have to take a backseat while they dodge the cult leaders’ attempts to eliminate their meddling by eliminating them altogether. Having once been a member of the cult himself, Sam has an inside track on how these people operate. But his past catches up to him when he discovers the child he never knew he had is included in the cult’s mass suicide plan.
