Keely felt the combustion of his kiss all the way to her toes.  She could barely stand on her own without holding on to him.  Martin dazed her with his intensely passionate kisses and the way he held her.  Each turn of his tongue sent her heart escalating to a higher level of love.  He was her soul mate—the essence of her entire being.  How could she make him understand that without sounding insane?  

As if he’d believe the line: I’m a Goddess sent from the heavens to be your life partner.  He’d run like hell.  But her fate was to be with him, she just had to figure out how to accomplish that feat.  She didn’t want to scare him off.  The troubling thoughts raced through her mind.

She had to get him to stop kissing her so she could collect herself.  Moving her head to his shoulder, she took a deep breath.  Keely didn’t want to release him; he felt too nice against her, and too warm in the chilly night air.  He was too darned perfect.  She reluctantly pulled away and faced the water.   

“Are you giving up on me, nymph?”  

His deep voice penetrated her inane thoughts.  She liked the way his voice became gruff when he called her nymph.  He was more accurate, calling her that than he realized.  As a Goddess, she’d been called nymph before, but not so affectionately.  Many of the Gods she’d been forced to play the deception game with had labeled her a nymph or worse.
